Plumbit ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Jigsawme. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Plumbit mobile application ("App"), which connects clients with nearby plumbers and electricians.

Information We Collect

Account Information

• Email address and password for authentication via Supabase
• Role: whether you registered as a client or a worker

Task & Service Data

• Task descriptions and photos you upload when posting a job
• Bid history: quotes submitted by workers on your tasks
• Ratings and reviews you give or receive after job completion

Location Data

• Approximate location used to match tasks with nearby workers
• Location is used only for task visibility and is not shared beyond the platform

Device & Usage Data

• Device type and operating system for diagnostics and push notification delivery
• Push notification tokens (via Firebase Cloud Messaging)

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To display your tasks to relevant nearby workers
• To send real-time bid notifications and status updates
• To show ratings and reviews on worker profiles
• To improve the App and diagnose issues

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure users can only access their own data. Push notifications are delivered via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).

Uploaded photos are stored in Supabase Storage with access policies that restrict visibility to relevant parties only.

Data Sharing

• Task details and photos are visible to workers in your area when you post a task
• Worker profiles, ratings, and bids are visible to clients hiring for a task
• We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties
• We may share data if required by applicable law

Your Rights

You can:

• Update your profile information at any time within the App
• Delete tasks you have posted (before a bid is accepted)
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us

Children's Privacy

Plumbit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — Authentication, database, storage, and real-time infrastructure
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — Push notification delivery
• Expo / EAS — App build and update delivery

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by other means. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
