1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Plumbit, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Plumbit is operated by Jigsawme, based in India.

2. Description of Service

Plumbit is a marketplace platform that connects clients who need plumbing or electrical work with nearby independent workers. The App allows you to:

• Post task listings with descriptions and photos
• Receive bids from nearby workers in your trade category
• Accept bids and communicate with workers
• Rate and review completed jobs
• As a worker: discover nearby tasks and submit competitive bids

3. User Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use Plumbit
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• One account per person — you may not share your account
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Client Responsibilities

As a client posting tasks, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete descriptions of the work required
• Upload only relevant and truthful photos of the task
• Communicate respectfully with workers who bid on your tasks
• Not post tasks for illegal or unsafe work
• Not post tasks intended to defraud workers

5. Worker Responsibilities

As a worker submitting bids, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and honest bid amounts and timelines
• Only bid on tasks you are qualified and available to complete
• Communicate professionally with clients
• Not submit false or misleading bids
• Not solicit clients to pay outside the platform to circumvent reviews

6. Ratings & Reviews

• Both clients and workers may leave ratings and reviews after job completion
• Reviews must be honest and based on your actual experience
• Fake reviews, review manipulation, or harassment via reviews is prohibited
• We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use Plumbit to:

• Post illegal, fraudulent, or unsafe tasks
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data
• Use bots, scripts, or automation to interact with the platform
• Attempt to circumvent the platform for off-app transactions to avoid accountability
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the App or its APIs

8. No Guarantee of Services

Plumbit is a marketplace platform only. We do not employ workers and make no guarantees about the quality, safety, legality, or completion of any work arranged through the App. You engage workers at your own risk. We strongly recommend verifying credentials before hiring.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of Plumbit is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described therein.

10. Service Availability

We strive to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or any damages arising from service unavailability.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion for violations of these Terms or for conduct that harms other users or the platform, with or without prior notice.
